About Us

Mission Statement 

   Poetic Plants is owned and operated by Monique Stanley-Davy. They are a published poet and garden enthusiast. The goal of Poetic Plants is to encourage self-love and positivity through poetry and planting. It takes patience, love and dedication to grow a plant. All of which can be applied to our everyday lives. Our journeys can be filled with ups and downs, celebrations and lessons. However no matter how difficult things may get we have the power to focus on the peace amongst the chaos. This is your journey, embrace the good, accept the bad and keep growing! 

Vision

Our vision is to inspire people to grow and learn about food through education and beginner friendly products. We want to challenge our current food systems to provide a more accessible connection to the food we put in our bodies.

Eco-Friendly

   Poetic Plants strives for sustainability and aims to support local businesses.

• Our seed paper is made from recycled newspaper and paper.
• The biodegradable pot provided in your kit can be planted directly into the ground. The pots are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic pots and a perfect way to start your seedlings. 
• Our packaging is also environmentally friendly. Our boxes are sealed with recyclable kraft paper tape. 

Supporting Local 

  Poetic Plants is based in Vancouver, BC. We make an effort to support local businesses and artists. Our company logo has been designed by the creative Taigan Trottier. She hand drew and painted the design. She can be found at T-M’s Portfolio on Facebook and Instagram.
